Step 7: Form an Evangelism Roundtable in Your Community

Objective

Create a network of local church leaders focused on evangelism to ensure that every person in your area hears an authentic personal witness for Christ by 2033.

Action Plan

  • Identify like-minded churches in your area to form an Evangelism Roundtable. This group will collaborate to strategize community outreach efforts, share resources, and support one another.
  • Host quarterly meetings to discuss local needs, challenges, and upcoming evangelistic events.
  • Plan joint outreach initiatives to build a stronger Christian presence in your local community.
Step 7: Form an Evangelism Roundtable in Your Community

The Evangelism Roundtable is a collaborative effort involving churches, ministries, community leaders, and believers who come together to share the message of Jesus Christ across a defined geographic area. This collective initiative follows the Collective Impact Model to ensure that all participants are united in purpose, aligned in strategy, and effectively working together to reach the entire region with the gospel.

Common Agenda where all participants in the Evangelism Roundtable are united under the same goal: to tell every individual in the identified geographic region about Jesus Christ and the message of salvation. Leaders from local churches and ministries convene to define the shared goal of reaching the entire community or region, creating a clear and compelling vision that motivates and inspires everyone to commit to spreading the gospel. This unified approach includes both proclamation (preaching) and demonstration (living out the gospel).

Shared Measurement System is put in place to track the progress and effectiveness of the evangelistic efforts across the region. Measurable goals are set for outreach, such as the number of people reached, the number of conversions, new discipleship groups, and church plants. Data is collected and shared consistently, allowing participants to assess impact, celebrate successes, and identify areas for improvement.

Mutually Reinforcing Activities are organized so that each participating church, ministry, or organization contributes in ways that complement each other. Activities are aligned with the mission, such as door-to-door evangelism, community service projects, neighborhood prayer walks, and public events that include gospel presentations. Each group focuses on its strengths, ensuring strategic coverage of the region and preventing overlap or duplication of efforts.

Continuous Communication is vital to foster collaboration, alignment, and accountability. Regular meetings, conference calls, and digital platforms are used to share updates, prayer requests, and testimonies. Open communication allows leaders and participants to discuss challenges, celebrate victories, and seek guidance as needed.

Backbone Support Organization is appointed to coordinate and support the collective efforts. This central entity, such as a regional church association or ministry network, manages logistics, organizes events, and provides resources such as evangelism training and promotional materials. It ensures the alignment of strategies, helps resolve conflicts, and adapts based on feedback and challenges faced during the campaign.

By using the Collective Impact Model, the Evangelism Roundtable brings together diverse church leaders, ministries, and believers to work collaboratively and effectively toward the common goal of spreading the gospel to every person in a geographic area. The collective strength of the body of Christ, combined with clear communication, aligned activities, and shared accountability, ensures that the message of Jesus Christ reaches every corner of the region and transforms lives for the glory of God.

Ready to take the next step?

Introduce the 2033 Vision

Every great movement begins with a clear and compelling vision. For us, that vision is rooted in Acts 2, a Spirit-empowered church marked by the unity, generosity, and bold witness.

Engage the Church Leadership

Once the vision is clear, the next step is to engage the hearts and minds of church leaders. Transformation begins when staff and lay leaders embrace the Acts 2 Movement not just as a program, but as a Spirit-led calling.

Sign the 2033 Declaration

With the vision embraced and leadership engaged, the next step is to make a public and spiritual commitment by signing the 2033 Declaration. By signing, your church affirms its dedication to the Acts 2 vision.

Conduct an Enlistment Campaign

After committing to the 2033 Declaration, it’s time to invite the whole congregation to join the journey. This helps your church community shift from being observers to active participants in God’s unfolding story of renewal and mission.

Gather Neighborhood Chaplains

As the church begins to mobilize, the next step is to identify, train, and commission individuals in your congregation who will intentionally connect with neighbors, offer prayer and care, and demonstrate Christ’s love through practical service.

Set Church/Member Goals for 2033

Next it’s time to look ahead and set clear, Spirit-led goals that align with the Acts 2 vision and the global 2033 timeline. Setting these goals isn’t about numbers alone. It’s about cultivating a shared expectation that God will work powerfully through your congregation.

Form an Evangelism Roundtable in Your Community

The Acts 2 Church was a witnessing church — bold, united, and outward-focused. Forming an Evangelism Roundtable brings that same spirit of collaboration to your local context.

Conduct Training

To sustain momentum and deepen impact, it’s essential to equip every believer for engagement in this movement. Through intentional training, you will help members grow in biblical understanding, spiritual maturity, and practical skills to share holistic Gospel witness.

Create a Pathway to 2033

Next it's vital to chart a clear course toward the milestone year of 2033. Develop a strategic, prayerful plan that outlines how your congregation will grow in faith, witness, service, and global connection over the coming years.

Celebrate Goals and Maintain Momentum

The final step in the journey is to celebrate the milestones your church has achieved while keeping the fire of the Acts 2 Movement alive. Recognizing accomplishments — both big and small — strengthens faith, builds unity, and inspires continued commitment to God’s mission.
